Contact us
Email support@mlemgirove.com. We help by email only.
To help us answer quickly, please include:
- your phone model and its iOS or Android version;
- your console's name, such as TreadPaw-4F2A (in the app: Profile, then Treadmill computer);
- your treadmill brand and model;
- what you did and what you saw. A screenshot helps.
Please don't send your dog's health records or other personal details we don't need. For questions about a treadmill order, shipping or returns, contact the store where you bought it.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can use the app without an account, and everything stays on your phone. Sign in only if you want to back up your data or move to a new phone: Profile, then Account & backup.
Where are the guides?
In the app: Profile, then Guides. They cover getting your dog to step on, a dog that drifts to one side, adjusting the incline, signs of overheating, charging the treadmill computer, replacing the speed sensor battery, a speed sensor that won't connect, and clipping the safety chain.
How do I pair the console with my phone?
Turn on Bluetooth and follow the steps in the app. You will confirm a 6-digit number on both your phone and the console. On Android, if no pairing window appears, look for the pairing request in your notifications.
The speed sensor won't connect
- Spin the front roller by hand. The sensor sleeps when the roller is still and wakes when it turns.
- "Asleep" on the Devices page between sessions is normal.
- Close other cycling apps. The sensor talks to one device at a time.
- If the battery is low, the light on the sensor flashes red and green. It takes a CR2032 coin cell.
How do I charge the console?
Plug it into a USB-C charger. The battery is built in. The battery icon on its screen and the Devices page show the charge.
How do heat alerts work?
Set a weather location in the app (Profile, then Weather location): type a ZIP code, or let the app use your phone's approximate location. Heat levels are cautious guidance only. Always check the actual conditions where your treadmill stands, and stop if your dog shows signs of overheating.
How do I export my data?
Profile, then Export my data. When you are signed in, Profile, then Account & backup, then Download my data gives you everything in your account.
How do I reset the console?
In the app: Devices page, then Reset to factory settings. On the console: hold both buttons for 10 seconds. A reset erases the pairing, the settings and the sessions stored on the console.
How do I delete my account?
See Delete your TreadPaw account and data. You can do it in the app, or by email without the app.
Is TreadPaw veterinary advice?
No. TreadPaw gives general training information. If your dog has a health problem, ask your vet before starting, and stop at once if your dog seems unwell.
Report a security issue
If you find a problem in the app, the console or our online services that could put data or devices at risk, email support@mlemgirove.com with the subject line "Security". Please include the app or firmware version, the steps to reproduce the problem, and what could happen.
- Test only with your own account and your own devices.
- Do not access, change or delete other people's data, and do not disrupt the service.
- Give us reasonable time to fix the problem before you tell anyone else.
We will confirm that we received your report and keep you updated. We provide security updates for the TreadPaw console firmware until at least December 31, 2028. Firmware updates are delivered through the app.

Your rights under the LGPL. You may modify the LGPL parts of the firmware and relink the firmware with them. For every firmware release we prepare a relink package (our object files, the link command, linker scripts and build settings); email support@mlemgirove.com to get it at no charge. For at least three years after each firmware release, anyone may ask us for the source of the LGPL parts and the relink package for that release, for no more than our cost of providing them. Details are in section 6 of the Terms of Use.
