Is it suitable for daily conditioning of working breeds?

It can support a supervised conditioning routine, but every dog's needs are different. Introduce the Slatmill gradually and use it alongside walks, play and training. The 500 lb figure is the frame load rating; the recommended dog-weight range is 30–154 lb.

Is it noisy? Will it disturb the house or neighbors?

There is no motor, but the moving running surface and your dog's stride still create sound. Actual noise varies by dog, pace, floor and room.

Is it hard to assemble?

Estimated assembly time is about 30 minutes for Medium and about 35 minutes for Large, with 1–2 people.
