Delete your TreadPaw account and data

This page explains how to delete your account in the TreadPaw app, provided by Xuzhou Haijiyun International Trade Co., Ltd, and the data linked to it. You don't need to have the app installed to ask us.

Option 1: Delete your account in the app (fastest)

  1. Open TreadPaw.
  2. Go to Profile, then Account & backup, then Delete account.
  3. Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again first.

Your account and its data in our cloud are deleted right away, and the app's data on that phone is cleared too.

Option 2: Ask us by email (no app needed)

  1. From the email address of your TreadPaw account, send an email to support@mlemgirove.com with the subject line "Delete my account".
  2. If you can't send from that address (for example, you used Sign in with Apple with Hide My Email), email us anyway from any address and tell us. We will help you confirm that the account is yours before we delete anything.
  3. We may reply to confirm your request. We delete your account and its data within 30 days after we receive your request, and we will email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

Your account and everything saved with it in our cloud:

  • your email address and sign-in details;
  • your dogs' profiles and weight history;
  • training sessions and notes, and weekly reports;
  • records of your paired console (treadmill computer);
  • your settings;
  • any Sign in with Apple authorization we stored. We cancel it with Apple first.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Backups: copies may remain in our hosting provider's daily backups for up to 7 days after your account is deleted. Then they are gone.
  • Deletion log: a record that an account was deleted (the time and the result), with no personal information.
  • Your email request: if you asked by email, we keep your message and our reply as a record that we handled your request.

Data on your phone and on the console

  • Data kept only on your phone is not on our servers. Uninstall the app to remove it, or, if you are not signed in, go to Profile, then Delete everything on this phone.
  • Sessions still stored on the console stay there until you reset it: in the app, Devices page, then Reset to factory settings; or hold both console buttons for 10 seconds.

Delete some data without deleting your account

While signed in, you can delete a dog (on the dog's profile page) or a single session (on the session's page). The item is removed from your phone right away and marked as deleted in our cloud the next time your phone syncs. Our cloud then removes it for good after 30 days. Deleting a dog also deletes its sessions, weights and weekly reports. You can also email us to ask for specific data to be deleted.

Subscriptions

TreadPaw has no subscriptions or paid features, so there is nothing to cancel.
